Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Preform Nursing Assessments for inpatient programs
- Cross train other RNs
- Participate in medical emergencies
- Conduct Clinical Assessments
- Medication Management
- Accurate documentation and calls
- Crisis intervention
- Health education to patients/families.
- Insurance verifications
- Completing Comprehensive Assessment via phone
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing either through ADN, Diploma or BSN Program
- Licensure: Licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing
- Experience: 1 year experience as a RN in Behavioral Health
- Certifications: CPR and hospital de-escalation certifications obtained 30 days from hire
