About the role
Job Title: Intake Operator
Position Type: Full time
Classification: Non-Exempt
Starting Pay: $22.75 per hour
Shift Premium: $0.75 per hour for hours worked between 5:00pm - 5:00am PM
Shift Available: 5:00PM - 5:00AM, on a 2-2-3 schedule
Weekends and holidays are scheduled on a rotating basis.
Location: 6501 Fitzner Road, Greenville, MI 48838
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all Safety and Quality standards.
- Communicate with appropriate personnel to ensure efficient operations.
- Clean equipment and facilities per Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures or as directed.
- Organize the operations of fluid receiving and shipping per Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintain proper record keeping.
- Professionally interact with coworkers, milk haulers, and all 3rd party partners.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodations
- Able to stand for the duration of shift
- Able to read and understand standard operating procedures and labels written in English
- Basic math skills (addition and subtraction)
- Able to tell time on an analog or digital clock
- Able to participate in a team environment
- Must be detail oriented and accurate
- Able to perform in a fast-paced work environment
Qualifications
- At least 18 years or older
- Knowledge of GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices), OSHA and loss control programs
- Three to five years of job-related experience
