Intake Coordinator - Vineland, NJ

About the role

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process, including obtaining authorizations, financial counseling, and benefit investigations.
• Liaison with referring providers to gather necessary documentation for treatment and communicate patient status.
• Communicate the referral process and patient status to patients in a customer-centric manner.
• Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers.
• Aid in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies.
• Participate in a dedicated 6-week training program to support your success in the role.

Requirements

• Passion for patient care and delivering exceptional experiences.
• Healthcare experience required.
• Prior experience in infusion preferred.
• Experience with insurance pre-authorizations.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and overall medical insurance experience.
• Ability to quickly learn and utilize new applications.
• Strong familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.

Schedule

This is a Full-Time position based in Vineland, NJ, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM.

Pay

The salary starts at $25/hr, plus a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics, and includes full benefits.
