Intake Coordinator - Mental Health Clinic

About the role

Intake Coordinator conducts initial assessments of patients to determine mental health needs and establish care requirements.

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the United States; UNLV Health does not provide employment sponsorships or sponsorship transfers.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Nursing or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years outpatient behavioral health experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Las Vegas community behavioral health providers (hospitals, social service agencies, SSA, DWSS, court programs and other mental health treatment organizations).

Skills

• Above average verbal, written, analytical abilities.
• Medical terminology proficiency.
• MS Word, MS Excel, Zoom, WebEx.
• EMR experience (Epic preferred).
• LSW, LCSW, RN, MFT, or CPC license preferred.

Schedule

Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (actual hours may vary depending on business need).

Physical requirements

• May include standing, sitting, and/or walking for extended periods.
• May include performing repetitive tasks.
• May include working on a special schedule (e.g., evenings and weekends with clients).
• May include working with challenging patients and clients.
• May include lifting up to 25 pounds.
