Intake Behavioral Health Technician (F/T, P/T, or PRN)
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Conduct client and facility searches in accordance with program policies and safety protocols, including body searches, contraband screening, and searches of client living areas.
- Observe and document urine drug screenings in compliance with program requirements.
- Inspect and process personal belongings, mail, and items delivered by family members to ensure compliance with facility guidelines and prohibited-item policies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records, logs, and shift documentation; communicate pertinent information verbally and through written reports.
- Conduct mandatory bed checks according to department procedures and complete required reporting documentation.
- Assist with client interventions and support treatment goals as outlined in individual treatment plans.
- Monitor medication lines and assist with medication-related procedures as directed.
- Train and mentor new staff on unit procedures, program expectations, and facility operations.
- Aid in the cleanliness, organization, safety, and general upkeep of the facility.
- Participate in shift-change briefings, team meetings, and company meetings.
Licensure, Education, & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Preference for behavioral health experience or general healthcare experience.
- Current CPR, AED and First Aid certification, preferred.

Shift Options
- 7:00am - 3:00pm - Full-time, 40 hours per week - Monday - Friday
- 3:00pm - 11:00pm - 3-4 days per week - Weekends
- Per Diem openings available for any shift: 1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm or 2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm - every week, availability communicated to managers.
Pay
$16.00/hour before shift differentials.

- 2nd Shift differentials: (Monday - Friday) $1.00 (Saturday and Sunday) $1.50
Summary
An essential role in the delivery of residential and outpatient treatment services. Direct care position with a primary responsibility of interacting with and supervising clients in treatment. Assists in the clinical and administrative teams to identify and serve client needs.
