About The Role
As an InsuranceNow Architect, you will make an impact by leading the configuration, customization, and enhancement of Guidewire InsuranceNow to support Property & Casualty insurance operations. You will be a valued member of the Insurance Technology team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the configuration and implementation of Guidewire InsuranceNow modules including Policy, Billing, and Claims
- Design and implement business rules, underwriting validations, claims logic, and workflow automation
- Customize user interfaces, forms, and integrations to enhance user experience and operational efficiency
- Define and configure product structures, carrier groups, and state-specific regulatory rules
- Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and drive best practices across delivery
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance systems
- Strong hands-on expertise with Guidewire InsuranceNow configuration and implementation
- Experience working with Policy, Billing, and Claims modules
- Proven experience implementing business rules, workflows, and validation frameworks
- Demonstrated technical leadership and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
Mandatory Skills (Top Keywords)
- InsuranceNow API development and integrations
- Java
- Experience integrating InsuranceNow with external and third-party systems
- Knowledge of U.S. state-specific insurance regulations
- UI/UX customization experience within InsuranceNow or similar platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Experience working in Agile environments and mentoring engineering teams
