About the role
Responsible for underwriting commercial insurance policies, assessing risks, and providing coverage recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Assessing risk profiles of commercial clients
- Reviewing policy applications and endorsements
- Communicating with clients to understand their needs and concerns
- Developing and presenting coverage recommendations
- Managing claims in accordance with insurance policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in insurance underwriting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Knowledge of commercial insurance products and regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with insurance rating systems and tools
