About the role
Our client, a leading Non-Profit, is looking to add a Sales Rep to their team. This person will have hybrid capabilities after 12 months of success in the role.
Responsibilities
- Provide proactive, personalized consultation to commercial and personal line clients, ensuring responsible and comprehensive account support.
- Serve as a technical insurance resource for clients and internal staff by presenting coverage options, policy provisions, and industry best practices.
- Evaluate and compare carrier quotes, coverage options, and pricing to develop, quote, close and bind tailored insurance recommendations.
- Coordinate and attend off-site client meetings to strengthen relationships and address insurance needs.
- Manage policy renewals to ensure timely processing and uninterrupted coverage.
- Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and audits accurately and efficiently.
- Respond promptly to underwriter inquiries and facilitate the timely resolution of underwriting requirements.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive client records in AMS360, including policy information, correspondence, activities, and follow-up items.
- Reconcile direct bill commission statements with the general ledger in collaboration with the accounting department.
- Extensive intrastate travel is required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline required.
- Active NJ, Property, Casualty, Insurance licenses required. Other state licenses a plus.
- 2+ years of progressive experience in the insurance industry and experience in sales and business development.
- Valid driver license and proven safe driving record.
