About the role
As a Licensed Insurance Sales Representative at Gerber Life Insurance, you will connect with customers nationwide who are interested in Gerber Life’s trusted products. Your responsibilities include handling inbound calls from warm leads, guiding customers through life insurance options, matching them with the best coverage, delivering exceptional customer service, and assisting with service calls.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound from warm leads — no cold calling!
- Guide customers through life insurance options using a consultative, customer-first approach
- Match customers with the best coverage to meet their needs and goals
- Deliver exceptional customer service while achieving personal and team sales targets
- Absorb and assist with service calls to support customer needs and reduce volume during peak times
Requirements
- Active Life & Health Insurance License (required)
- 3+ years of sales experience — ideally in insurance, call center, or financial services
- Life Insurance sales experience
- Customer Service experience
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Goal-oriented and motivated by earning potential (uncapped commissions!)
- Proven ability to follow structured sales processes and maintain compliance
- Tech-savvy and comfortable multi-tasking in a virtual environment
- Able to work variable shifts
Qualifications
Gerber Life Insurance values candidates who are passionate, skilled, and driven. This includes having an Active Life & Health Insurance License, 3+ years of sales experience, especially in insurance, call center, or financial services, and a strong background in Life Insurance sales and Customer Service. Additionally, applicants should have excellent communication and active listening skills, be goal-oriented, and able to follow structured sales processes while maintaining compliance. Tech-savviness and the ability to work in a virtual environment are also important, along with the flexibility to work variable shifts.
