Responsibilities

  • Operate as a consultative risk advisor, not just a salesperson.
  • Develop and grow a personal book of business through referrals, networking, and strategic community engagement.
  • Conduct needs-based insurance consultations across auto, home, life, umbrella, and commercial.
  • Deliver tailored protection strategies using access to a broad panel of top-rated carriers.
  • Possess the ability to prospect and identify opportunities through structured outreach and relationship-building.
  • Maintain disciplined follow-up and accurate documentation within CRM and sales technology platforms.
  • Continuously elevate your sales process, closing skills, and client experience standards.
  • This is an outside sales role with structured in-office collaboration and flexibility to manage your time effectively between field, office, and remote work.

Requirements

  • Show up to work with a positive attitude, ready to be part of the team, listen, learn, and grow.
  • Show experience in sales, account management, retail, hospitality, banking, logistics, or service leadership.
  • Show experience in consultative selling or objection handling.
  • If you do not have an active insurance license for the state of Michigan, you must obtain required insurance licenses upon hire (training and support paid for).

Qualifications
