Insurance Sales Rep-Farmers Ins. Sales Trainee Program

About the role

The Farmers Insurance Protégé Program is an intensive and rewarding opportunity for individuals who are entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and have a strong desire to build a business in the insurance industry. As a Protégé Agent, you will receive world-class training and support to develop your skills and knowledge, with the ultimate goal of transitioning into an independent Farmers Insurance Agent.

Responsibilities

• Develop a book of business by actively prospecting, cold calling, networking, and building relationships within the community.
• Identify customer needs and present tailored insurance products, including auto, home, life, and business insurance solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, providing excellent customer service and timely follow-ups.
• Participate in a comprehensive training program and receive one-on-one mentorship from an experienced Farmers Insurance Agent.
• Implement marketing strategies to build brand awareness and attract potential clients.
• Aid in daily agency operations, including policy servicing, quoting, and customer inquiries.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sales or customer service experience is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong work ethic.
• Goal-oriented with a passion for helping others.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain necessary state insurance licenses (Farmers will provide support).

Skills

• Strong sales and business development skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of insurance products and services.

Benefits

• Salary Range: $1,500.00 - $3,000.00 per month
