About the role

Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance seeks to hire an Insurance Sales Agent to join their team in the Craig County Farm Bureau Office located in New Castle, VA.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with community members and organizations
• Help and serve community members and organizations
• Review and service an existing book of business
• Work independently and manage time effectively
• Manage and grow a book of business
• Obtain necessary licenses (Property & Casualty, Life, Health & Annuities)

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
• Good time management skills
• Prior sales experience (any industry) helpful but not required
• Goal-oriented and driven to succeed

Qualifications

• Property & Casualty license and Life, Health & Annuities license, or ability to obtain these with Virginia Farm Bureau providing and paying for licensing training materials/class
