Insurance Sales Agent- Louisa
About the role
Virginia Farm Bureau desires to hire an Insurance Sales Agent to join our team in the Louisa County Farm Bureau Office located in Louisa, VA. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills for building strong relationships and a desire to help and serve their community members and organizations.
Compensation
Average First-Year Total Compensation: $52,000 – $125,000 annually (inclusive of base salary). Base Salary: $37,000 – $52,000 annually (dependent upon location and established book of business). Total compensation — which includes base salary, commissions, and performance-based earnings — is driven by your individual effort, hustle, and the relationships you build with members. The ceiling? There isn't one.
Responsibilities
- Meet with existing and new clients (travel required)
- Service an existing book of business
- Generate new sales and earn commissions
Preferred Requirements
- Property & Casualty license and Life, Health & Annuities license, or ability to obtain these with Virginia Farm Bureau providing and paying for licensing training materials/class
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Good time management skills and the ability to work independently
- Prior sales experience (any industry) helpful but not required
- Goal-Oriented and driven to succeed
