Insurance Sales Agent - Farmers Insurance

About the role

The Holly Benson Agency is seeking an Insurance Sales Agent to join their team at the Farmers Insurance office in Dimondale, Michigan. This position offers hands-on training, coaching, and support to help you succeed in the field.

Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective customers through leads, referrals, outbound calls, and follow-up
• Ask questions to understand each customer's needs and recommend appropriate coverage
• Quote and sell Auto, Home, Life, Business, and other insurance products
• Build relationships with customers and identify additional coverage opportunities
• Maintain consistent follow-up and manage your sales pipeline
• Work toward individual and agency sales goals
• Participate in ongoing training and coaching

Requirements

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable speaking with new people and working in a sales environment
• Motivated by goals, performance, and earning potential
• Persistent and able to move forward after hearing "no"
• Coachable, dependable, and willing to learn
• Sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, banking, or other customer-facing experience is a plus
• Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license preferred, or willingness to obtain licensing
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
