About the Role
A-MAX Insurance is seeking hard-working, motivated individuals ready to build a rewarding career in insurance sales. This is an in-office position where you will assist customers with various insurance needs, develop new client relationships, and grow professionally with full training and support.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with new policies, editing existing policies, taking payments, renewing and reinstating policies, and answering all questions
- Inspect vehicles, examining general condition, age, and other characteristics to determine acceptable insurance risk
- Seek out new clients, generate lists of prospective clients, and develop clientele by networking and marketing
- Work with your office manager to develop marketing strategies to attract new customers
- Perform administrative tasks, handle policy renewals, and contact underwriting to complete policies
- Assist with daily housekeeping routines
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Customer Service/Insurance Sales Experience preferred but not required
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
- Hold a valid and current Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred, but not required)
- Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing
- Basic Computer knowledge and possess strong written, verbal, and people skills
- Able to work independently with minimal/no supervision and quickly learn Company/Proprietary software
- Complete continuing education courses (paid for by A-MAX) as required to maintain active license status with TDI
Pay
- Hourly pay PLUS uncapped commission – paid weekly
