Position Highlights

• Position: Insurance Representative I
• Location: Skokie, IL
• Schedule: Full Time, hybrid, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

What You Will Do

• Initial collection activities related to the insurance balance on hospital accounts.
• Ensure correct payment received based on expected reimbursement.
• Reviews and analyzes all required demographic, insurance/financial, and clinical data procured by patient intake and registration areas necessary to expedite payment on patient’s accounts.
• Performs pre-certification notification via telephone or electronically and gathers and completes all required documentation for submission to insurance carriers per payer requirements.

What You Will Need

• Education: High School Graduate, required; 2yrs post high school or degree preferred.
• Experience: Initial collection on claims for all payers (government and Managed care payers).
• Skills: Computer keyboarding, Epic, math skill, understanding of Cpts, UB preferred, effective communicator and analytical.

Hourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
