About the role
Towne Insurance is hiring a receptionist and administrative assistant for their downtown Norfolk headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Greet all clients and guests.
- Refer them to the correct person.
- Answer incoming calls and forward them to the correct person.
- Distribute all incoming faxes and other electronic documents.
- Pull policies from company websites and distribute to the correct person.
- Help open mail.
- Optical Processor (scanning).
- Keep receptionist area neat.
- Keep conference rooms neat.
- Receive all deliveries.
- Adhere to applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong telephone skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Experienced with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Work well under pressure.
- Able to multi-task.
- Dependable and punctual.

Pay
The good-faith compensation range for this role is expected to be $38,000 to $45,000, based on the role, market, internal equity, and candidate qualifications.
