What You'll Do
- Analyze business performance and translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Evaluate the impact of product, pricing, and underwriting changes on conversion, retention, loss ratio, business mix, profitability, and growth.
- Identify key drivers of performance through analysis of customer behavior, portfolio trends, market dynamics, and emerging opportunities.
- Support rate, rule, and form filings, while assessing regulatory changes and their impact on product and pricing strategies.
- Analyze performance across portfolios, segments, policy attributes, and individual policies to identify risks and opportunities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define business requirements, develop scalable analytics solutions, and ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Leverage modern data platforms, automation, and reporting tools to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Lead and contribute to strategic initiatives that influence product, pricing, and operational decisions across multiple markets and lines of business.
- Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, influencing stakeholders through data-driven storytelling.
- Share accountability for the growth and profitability of assigned products and markets.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree and 4–6 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong analytical, financial, and critical-thinking skills with experience working with large, complex datasets.
- Proficiency with Snowflake, Databricks, SQL, Python, and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Ability to transform complex data into actionable business insights and strategic recommendations.
- Knowledge of actuarial and pricing concepts, insurance market dynamics, regulatory environments, and rating bureau filings.
- Experience collaborating across Product, Actuarial, State Management, IT, and Data Engineering teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
- Insurance industry experience in Product Management, Pricing, Underwriting, or Analytics, along with certifications or advanced training in analytics, AI, data science, or business strategy.

Pay Transparency: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
