Job Summary and Qualifications
This is an integral position within HCA Healthcare’s Risk & Insurance department and on behalf of the insurance company subsidiary Health Care Indemnity, Inc. (HCI). Reporting directly to the Director of Insurance Operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze insurance coverage requests from the HCA Legal department, Health Care Indemnity, Inc., and other departments to make timely coverage determinations.
- Support the Insurance team by including research and completion of applications and data submissions.
- Handle certificate requests for the HCA Legal department and review contracts for acceptable insurance related content.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 5+ years of experience in insurance underwriting or corporate insurance function is required.
- Excellent communication, organizational, computer and presentation skills are required.
- Insurance Certification is preferred.
- Property & Casualty Insurance Broker License is preferred.
