Insurance Inspector - Loss Control Consultant [ Independent Contractor]

Responsibilities

• The understanding of general liability and property coverages and apply such to assess the exposures at an insured’s property.
• Ability to coordinate appointments/visits with insureds
• Ability to meet due dates by completing timely inspecting and reporting
• Detail oriented with flexibility in scheduling and reliable transportation
• Completing pre-visit phone interview along with on-site inspection
• Identifying potential hazards and developing recommendations to mitigate loss
• Completion of reporting via web-based workflow management system, including uploading photos and diagrams as necessary.
• Communicate well with both LCS and the insured
• Utilizing digital photography and measuring wheel

Requirements

• Previous experience required in both residential and commercial inspections
• Willingness to complete a background check
