Insurance Inspector - Commercial - Syracuse, NY
About the role
We are seeking EXPERIENCED INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS to complete insurance underwriting inspections. Our services to our insurance company customers that are completed in the field primarily focus on commercial & residential inspections as well as workers’ compensation inspections. We strongly value experience in commercial property inspections, as most of the work is typically in commercial lines.
Responsibilities
- Travel to insureds' business sites to evaluate hazards and safety concerns.
- Interview the business owner and tour the premises.
- Make measurements of the buildings as required.
- Take photos and identify hazards and safety concerns.
- Volume of work varies by location, ranging from one day’s worth of work to several days or more per week.
- Amount of work to be assigned within his/her specific territory will be discussed as we explore the issue of availability.
Requirements
