Insurance Inspector - Commercial - Jacksonville, NC

About the role

We are seeking EXPERIENCED INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS to complete insurance underwriting inspections.

Responsibilities

• Travel to insured businesses to evaluate hazards and safety concerns.
• Interview business owners and tour the premises.
• Make measurements of buildings as required.
• Take photos and identify hazards and safety concerns.
• Work in areas with WC field inspections to assign, adding significant value if experienced.
• Varying workload, ranging from one day’s worth of work to several days or more per week.

• Mental aptitude; ability to see spatial relationships
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• The ability to interact professionally via telephone or in person, with policy holders (insureds), clients, and their representatives
