About the Role
This is a first level position for an Insurance Follow-up/Denial Representative. The representative performs all functions necessary to obtain timely reimbursement or resolve denial issues. The position is responsible for meeting productivity and quality audit standards and must operate as a team player within the department while demonstrating and adhering to Baptist Health's beliefs, mission, and values.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Experience in medical billing and collections or ICD-10 and CPT coding, or exhibits the capability to learn.
- Ability to read and understand billing policies and obtain information from a variety of resources.
- Proficiency in using a computer, various software, and navigating websites to accomplish set goals.
- Maintain a positive attitude when working with patients, families, coworkers, leadership, payors, and other internal and external customers.
Schedule
Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This position is authorized for 640.00 hours bi-weekly.
