Responsibilities

• Independent docket management;
• Fact, expert, and corporate representative depositions;
• Motions/discovery;
• Oral arguments;
• Texas state/federal practice;
• High-exposure $1M+ policy-limit cases;
• Strict billing discipline.

Requirements

• Bar admission in the applicable jurisdiction;
• Comfortable handling discovery, motions, depositions, and case strategy;
• Strong writing and client communication skills;
• Interest in defense-side litigation work.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years insurance defense or PI litigation experience;
• 5+ years litigation experience including trial/arbitration experience;
• 4+ years litigation experience with active California bar;
• 1-20 years post-bar civil litigation experience including professional liability, insurance coverage, business litigation, employment defense, real estate litigation, and construction defect.
