This is an exciting opportunity to work on a broad range of insurance defense cases, providing legal counsel to our clients, and representing them in court. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a strong background in insurance defense litigation, a keen understanding of deposition procedures, and a track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients.

Responsibilities

• Representing clients in a wide range of insurance defense cases, including personal injury, property damage, and professional liability claims.
• Conducting thorough legal research to support defense strategies.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Conducting depositions to gather evidence and information relevant to cases.
• Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure the effective management of cases.
• Advising clients on legal rights, obligations, and strategies.
• Representing clients in court, presenting evidence, and arguing cases effectively.
• Staying updated on changes in insurance laws and regulations and their impact on clients.
• Working diligently to meet case deadlines and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Admission to the Tennessee state bar.
• Extensive experience in conducting depositions.
• Strong knowledge of insurance laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
• Proven track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
