Responsibilities
- Represent our clients in all stages of civil litigation, including pre-trial preparation, discovery, settlement negotiations, trial, and appeals.
- Conduct thorough and detailed legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and settlement agreements.
- Advising clients on their legal rights and obligations, and helping them understand the potential implications of different legal strategies.
- Collaborate with our team of attorneys to develop and implement effective legal strategies that align with our clients' goals and interests.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents, and apply this knowledge to advance our clients' interests.
- Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct and ethical practice at all times.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Absent other requirements, admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on civil litigation.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and driving civil cases from start to finish.
- Excellent legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively advocate for our clients' interests.
- Strong negotiation skills, with a proven ability to achieve favorable settlements for our clients.
- High level of professionalism and integrity, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of legal practice.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
- Willingness and ability to stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
