Insurance Defense Attorney

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Attorney to join its growing legal team. This role focuses on first-party insurance defense, including the defense of insurance claims and litigation matters related to homeowners insurance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and defend first-party insurance claims and litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and court proceedings.
• Develop case strategies and provide legal analysis.
• Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.
• Experience in first-party insurance defense litigation.
• Strong legal writing, research, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
