Insurance Defense Attorney

About the Role

Chicago based defense firm seeking an attorney with experience defending construction and premises liability cases. Experience with Federal Court is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle 10-15 cases from inception through resolution
• Attend depositions remotely and in person
• Attend court hearings
• Work collaboratively with Partners, assistants, and paralegals
• Assist Partners with business development and client communications

Compensation and Hours

• 1,750 billable hours/year
• Salary range: $90,000 to $150,000
• Medical Insurance through BCBS and dental

Our Firm

• Initial period of 2-3 days/week in office for mentorship and training
• After initial period, work remotely at your discretion
• Vacation is flexible as long as billable requirements are on track
