Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of 20-30 files, balancing complexity of cases
- Engage in trial preparation and represent clients in court
- Conduct depositions and mediations
- Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants
- Aid in the representation of policyholders and self-insured companies
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance defense, particularly in premises liability and related cases
- Minimum of 3 years of employment law experience also accepted
- Willingness to try cases and take them to trial
- Active bar membership in California
- Trial experience is preferred
