About the Role
Ropers Majeski’s growing and dynamic insurance practice has an opportunity for an Insurance Coverage & Litigation Attorney with a minimum of four years of coverage experience to join our Los Angeles office. The position offers flexibility to work remotely or in the office.

Responsibilities
- Drafting coverage opinions
- Reviewing and analyzing claim documents
- Reviewing and assessing policy language
- Litigating declaratory judgment and bad faith actions in California and many other jurisdictions
- Providing a wide range of insurance coverage services to clients, including updating policy language
- Handling declaratory judgment and bad faith litigations from inception to trial, including preparation of pleadings and briefs, managing discovery and depositions, and conducting legal research, analysis, and writing
- Experience with both state and federal court proceedings
Requirements
- JD degree with excellent academic credentials
- Minimum of four years of solid experience handling coverage matters and litigating declaratory judgment and bad faith actions
- Experience providing coverage assessments to clients, including experience with private equity, fiduciary, errors and omissions, D&O, and other professional liability policies as well as commercial general liability and property policies
- Current CA Bar admission in good standing is required

- Base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $210,000
