About the role
Nicolaides Fink Thorpe Michaelides Sullivan LLP is seeking an Insurance Coverage Counseling and Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join our growing Los Angeles office.
Responsibilities
- Handle challenging and complex issues and disputes (litigated and non-litigated) involving a wide array of industries, subject matters, and legal principles.
- Develop expertise in a constantly evolving practice area.
- Work directly alongside partners in all six offices.
- Have regular client contact and be encouraged to develop client relationships.
- Possess strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, along with the ability to think strategically and problem-solve difficult concepts.
- Have 3-5 years civil litigation experience.
- Have 2 years of insurance coverage experience (preferred).
Requirements
- A JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
- 3-5 years civil litigation experience.
- 2 years of insurance coverage experience (preferred).
Qualifications
- Excellent academic record.
- Valid bar license in CA.

Pay
Associate attorney compensation ranges from $160,000-$240,000, with the final offer commensurate with experience.
