Kennedys, a Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked global firm serving insurers and the London market, is seeking dynamic and talented attorneys to join its national and international insurance coverage litigation practices in our Seattle office.

Responsibilities

• Represent insurance companies in coverage disputes
• Advising insurance companies in a variety of coverage matters
• Analyze coverage issues
• Draft coverage opinions, pleadings, and dispositive motions
• Conduct discovery in insurance coverage litigation
• Take and defend depositions
• Attend court conferences
• Argue motions

Requirements

• At least two years of a strong litigation background
• Experience analyzing coverage issues
• Experience drafting coverage opinions, pleadings, and dispositive motions
• Experience conducting discovery in insurance coverage litigation
• Experience taking and defending depositions
• Experience attending court conferences
• Experience arguing motions
• Admitted and good standing in Washington

Qualifications

• Candidates must be admitted and good standing in Washington
• Additional admissions in other states are a plus

• Strong litigation background
• Experience with insurance coverage issues
• Excellent writing and research skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Pay

The annualized salary range for this role is $130,000-$220,000; however, actual salary is contingent upon level of experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
