Insurance Coverage Attorney

Position Highlights

Experience Level: Minimum of 3 years of substantive insurance coverage experience.
Practice Areas: Insurance coverage and defense litigation, including analysis of coverage issues, drafting opinions, and litigating declaratory judgment actions.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle all aspects of coverage and litigation matters, including:
• Drafting coverage opinions and dispositive motions
• Conducting and defending depositions (party and expert)
• Preparing for and assisting in trial
• Managing client relationships and case strategy

Environment

Collaborative, fast-paced practice with strong mentorship and client interaction.

Billable Hours

1,800

Compensation

Competitive salary package.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active Illinois bar admission.
• MUST have a minimum of 3 years of direct Insurance Coverage and/or Insurance Defense Litigation experience.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases with minimal supervision.
• Portable business is welcome and will be considered in compensation discussions.
