About the Opportunity:The INSURANCE COVERAGE ASSOCIATE role involves managing complex insurance coverage litigation cases from start to finish, including strategy development, budgeting, and client advisement. This position contributes to the organization by providing expert legal counsel in insurance coverage matters, supporting client relationships, and assisting business development efforts. The role offers flexibility to work fully remote or hybrid from any U.S. state. Responsibilities:Oversee complex insurance coverage litigation and manage multiple cases from intake through resolution.Develop and implement litigation strategies and budgets.Conduct and defend depositions, and argue dispositive motions.Provide strategic legal advice in business, professional liability, and employment disputes.Negotiate and draft settlement agreements.Support marketing and business development to strengthen client relationships. Requirements:Active California bar license.Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.One year of insurance coverage experience.Strong communication, interpersonal, writing, organizational, and advocacy skills. Pay Range and Compensation Package:Salary commensurate with experience: $135,000—$145,000 USD.
