About the role
We're a relationship-driven independent insurance agency looking for an exceptional Insurance Client Specialist to join our fast-growing team. Our Client Specialists play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive the service they need to properly manage their insurance policies. You are the facilitator of positive and effective relationships with our valued clients and insurance carrier staff.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships in and out of the organization, by providing general agency support and support to the agency's clients.
- Handle clients' day-to-day questions and other support services.
- Assist in the production of new accounts and the retention of existing accounts.
- Provide prompt, efficient, high-quality service to designated accounts in support of Producer activities.
- Gather information and risk management recommendations for the renewal of designated accounts sixty days prior to renewal and deliver renewal and/or binders for designated accounts within five days of receipt.
- Conduct periodic service calls for designated accounts.
- Answer agency phone calls, order supplies, and conduct general office administration.
- Minimize potential for errors & omissions claims by maintaining a concern for timeliness and completeness when interacting with customers, agency, and company personnel.
- Receive phone calls and office visitors requesting quotes.
- Solicit increases in limits and/or coverages or rounding out accounts through sales to clients at every service contact.
- Make minor policy changes for personal lines coverage as requested by the Agent.
- Absorb the everyday flow in the agency including emails, downloads, expiration notices, and special projects.
- Seek referrals from current client base to solicit for new business prospects; follow up to generate new business using prospect database and automation system.
- Perform other functions as assigned by management.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Active Property & Casualty license or willing to obtain (materials and fees paid by Highstreet).
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- A high attention to detail.
- Quickly learn new technology.
- Be team-oriented.
