About the role

The Insurance Benefit Specialist is responsible for managing insurance claims and ensuring accurate billing processes within the revenue cycle management team.

Responsibilities

• Process insurance claims in a timely manner
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility
• Resolve discrepancies and appeals related to insurance benefits
• Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies
• Communicate with patients and insurance companies regarding claims status

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in insurance processing or revenue cycle management
• Strong knowledge of insurance coding and reimbursement guidelines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
