Insurance Auditor

About the role

The Binding Specialist reviews and processes insurance policies while providing support to the client service team. This role requires a strong attention to detail while auditing new policies, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and processes insurance policies
• Supports the client service team
• Audits new policies for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Escalates issues or discrepancies in a timely manner
• Maintains an efficient new business workflow from sale through policy issuance
• Supports and maintains an efficient new business workflow from sale through policy issuance
• Manages multiple tasks in a high-volume environment
• Communicates clearly and professionally with clients and team members

Requirements

• Prior experience in an administrative, data entry or customer support role
• Ability to review insurance submissions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Strong communication skills
• Understanding of binding insurance policies in accordance with agency standards and state regulations
• Attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
• Willingness to support the account management team with service requests for existing policyholders
• Flexibility to assist with general account management tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer service or related experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency navigating multiple computer systems and software platforms
• Prior experience in insurance, account management, or a related field is a plus, but not required
• Property & Casualty license preferred; willingness to obtain licensure required
