Insurance and Financial Services Position - State Farm Agent Team Member

Responsibilities
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
- Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
Requirements
- Must have Property and Casualty license (able to obtain)
- Must have Life and Health license (able to obtain)
- Ability to remain current in product changes, licensing, technical developments, and continuing education
- Self-motivated
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Desire to win and achieve results
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher preferred
- Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
- Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
- Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- People-oriented
- Organizational skills
- Self-motivated
- Experience in a variety of computer applications, particularly Windows
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to make presentations to potential customers
- Ability to assess customer needs and conduct effective interviews
Skills
- Bilingual - Spanish preferred

We help customers with their insurance and financial services needs, including Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement Planning, Business Insurance, and Renters Insurance.
Our office is located in Waukegan, illinois.
Our office is open 9-5 Mon - Friday and 9-12 on Saturday.
I have been a State Farm agent since 1998.
I am a proud graduate of the University of Colorado.
We currently have 9 team members at our agency.
