Job Description
An Account Manager at PIIAC/ ASC is different, your clients are our members. You will be working with independent agents throughout the state to help them grow their business by utilizing the insurance carrier access we have. This job will blend your account management, underwriting, and producer skill all into one role.

Responsibilities
- Drive growth of the organization by working with independent agents to help them obtain quotes for their clients.
- Cultivate and sustain strong agent relationships, providing exceptional service, timely and accurate quotations, and proactive account support.
- Maintain sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs), documenting all sales activity in detail.
- Conduct marketing, negotiate rates, review quotes and coverage for competitiveness and accuracy.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, mentoring team members, sharing expertise, and contributing to both formal and informal team meetings.
- Guide and support agent partners through the new business, renewal, and retention process, strengthening long-term relationships.
- Collaborate with carrier partners to understand underwriting guidelines, risk appetites, and stay current with industry trends.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve firm processes and bring issues or discrepancies to the attention of appropriate leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Hold the insurance license required by your state and have a minimum of 5 years personal and commercial lines insurance account management experience.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a source of reliable transportation.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively secure new business and maintain existing client base.
- People-oriented, customer-focused, and professionally assertive in developing new client relationships and servicing existing clients.
- Outstanding organizational skills with an ability to complete difficult assignments without supervision, sound business judgment, strong decision-making and superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Technology and Computer proficiency including agency management systems.
Pay
Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 annually
Compensation: $60,000.00 - $67,500.00 per year
