Insurance Account Manager

Duties/Responsibilities

• Communicating and providing service to our clients via phone, email, in person, or virtually
• Direct clients to Service Centers when appropriate
• Log activities for all client & carrier communications and set suspense for any item that requires follow up
• Receive changes requests from client and submit those requests to appropriate insurance carrier and confirm in writing to the client
• Report to the company all new claims as indicated in claim handling procedures the same day that we are notified of the claim
• Review suspense items on a daily basis and address all outstanding items
• Process endorsements according to procedures
• Respond to correspondence received by underwriters
• Complete stewardships with clients each week
• Report significant (Cancellations, Non-renewals, Underwriting information) activity on an account to the Account Executive and/or PL Service Manager
• Assist in any projects, tasks or transfer of business that assists the PL Department in achieving their objectives
• Able to cross-sell additional coverage or set appointment for Account Executive(s)
