About the role

Austin Industrial is seeking an Insulation Leadman to join our team. This role requires a strong background in applying, removing, and repairing insulating materials.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints and selects required insulation material.
• Works at heights with no fear.
• Brushes adhesives on or attaches metal adhesive application to insulation material.
• Determines the amounts and selects required insulation material based on material's ability to retain heat, location, surface, shape, and equipment use.
• Measures and cuts insulation material to specified size and shape for covering flat or round surfaces, using handsaw, knife, or scissors.
• Fits, wraps, or attaches required insulation material around or to structures, following blueprint specifications.
• Covers or seals insulation with preformed plastic covers, canvas strips, sealant, or tape to secure insulation to the structure, according to the type of insulation used and structure covered, using staple gun, trowel, paintbrush, or caulking gun.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• No minimum education requirements.
• 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience.
• Likely to be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.
