Insulation Technician

About the role
Our Insulation Technicians are responsible for removing old insulation after wildlife exclusions services are completed, and installing new tap insulation products. You will be working in areas such as attics and crawlspaces. Other job responsibilities can include:
- Assisting with wildlife removal and exclusion service
- Performing exclusion services and animal removal for residential and commercial customers, including inspections, trapping, baiting, light carpentry work, working at rooftop levels, crawl space vapor barrier installation, crawl space insulation removal & installation, crawl space debris removal, and crawl space and attic disinfections
- Inspecting properties for wildlife and rodent damage and making recommendations on solutions to remedy the problem
- Building internal and external relationships
- Operating and maintaining service vehicle and equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 months related construction experience
- Ability to set live traps
- Previous ladder and/or harness work experience
- Good understanding of different construction types
- At least 2 years of customer service experience
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Organized and punctual
- Ability to lead others
- Must be able to pull a 7x14 enclosed trailer
- Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
- Ability to obtain and maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations
- Must possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence
