Insulation Journeyman

Responsibilities
- Install and remove various types of insulation and jacketing on piping and equipment in the petrochemical industry.
- Lift a minimum of 50lb boxes.
- Work from elevated heights, including mobile lifting equipment (MANLIFTS).
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- NCCER Certifications preferred but not required.
- Minimum 4 years experience; preferably in manufacturing or industrial facilities.
- Motivated self-starter capable of working independently and efficiently.
- Ability to write legibly, routine correspondence and to speak effectively as well as coherently with management and other Chemelex employees.
- Knowledge of industrial electricity issues.
- Works well within teams.
Qualifications
90% travel to job sites around the country. Employment will be contingent upon passing Physical, Background and Drug tests along with an insulation journeyman written and practical test. This position will require a TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Card).
Skills
Insulation Journeyman must provide their own tools of the trade.
