Instrumentation Technician (Onsite, Stratford, CT)

About the role

We are looking for an Instrumentation Technician for a global aerospace company. In this role, you will support the installation, fabrication, calibration, maintenance, and operation of aerospace instrumentation systems and data acquisition equipment to ensure accurate and reliable engineering test data collection.

Responsibilities

• Support building and maintenance of instrumentation systems to provide measurement data required by the Engineering Department
• Fluency with aerospace cable fabrication and assembly
• Work in a team environment assisting instrumentation engineers in the preparation, installation, check-out and operation of instrumentation systems
• Follow planned maintenance / calibration and standard operating procedures for all instrumentation and control equipment in order to maintain accuracy of data and ensure its validity
• Operate DAS and other recording equipment

Requirements

• 16+ years of experience with building and maintenance of instrumentation systems
• Must have extensive strain gauge experience
• Bachelor's degree

Qualifications

• Experience working on test aircraft avionics and instrumentation wiring preferred

Pay

$60.00/hr - $68.00/hr

Schedule

40-hour-per-week (4-day 10-hour shifts per week), Onsite in Stratford, CT

This is a 12-month contract (extensions likely). This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
