Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and calibrate instrumentation equipment used in laboratory and field test environments
- Maintain and monitor the proper functioning of data acquisition systems and sensors
- Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation issues promptly to avoid disruptions in research activities
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop and implement new instrumentation solutions
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, calibration, and inspection activities
- Absorb and analyze data collected from instrumentation activities to support research projects
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in instrumentation technology, electronics, engineering, or a related technical field preferred
- Experience with installation, calibration, and maintenance of scientific instruments and data acquisition systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to instrumentation and electronics
- Familiarity with data acquisition software and instrumentation hardware
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
