Instrumentation Process Control Supervisor
for sections like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. Must not repeat job title as heading. Must not include Job ID etc. Remove boilerplate.
We need to extract substantive info: Department - Regional Wastewater Reclamation, Job Type: Classified, Job Classification: 5349 - Instrumentation Process Control Supervisor, Salary Grade: 15, Pay Range Hiring Range: $72,009 - $86,403 Annually, Pay Range: $72,009 - $100,817 Annually, Range Explanation (some text). Also first review date: 09/25/2026. Then description: "Are you a visionary leader..." etc. Essential Functions list (many bullet-like sentences). Minimum Qualifications (text). Preferred Qualifications (list). Selection Procedure (text). Supplemental Information (licenses, background, etc). Physical/Sensory Requirements (list). Working Conditions (brief). EEO Info (boilerplate, should be removed). Also need to remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions.
Thus we need to keep sections: About the role (maybe the introductory paragraph), Responsibilities (Essential Functions), Requirements (Minimum Qualifications), Qualifications (Preferred Qualifications?), Skills (maybe list of skills from essential functions), Benefits (none given), Pay (salary ranges), Schedule (none given). We should only include sections with real content.
We have Pay info: Hiring Range and Pay Range. Also Salary Grade. So we can include Pay section.
Schedule: not given, so omit.
Benefits: not given, omit.
Skills: we could extract from essential functions: supervision of maintenance, installation, calibration, repair of instrumentation, SCADA, PLCs, etc. Could list as bullet list.
Requirements: Minimum Qualifications.
Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications.
About the role: introductory paragraph after "Are you a visionary leader..." maybe also the first paragraph about driving innovation.
Let's craft.
We must not invent or summarize away detail; preserve all substantive info. So we need to include all details from essential functions, minimum quals, preferred quals, selection procedure, supplemental info, physical/sensory requirements, working conditions.
We need to format as headings and - for lists,
for prose.
We must not include headings with filler text.
Let's decide sections:
- About the role (intro paragraph)
- Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Requirements (Minimum Qualifications)
- Qualifications (Preferred Qualifications)
- Skills (maybe list of specific technologies: Python, C++, Ladder logic, VBScript, JavaScript, Wonderware, Ignition, Rockwell FactoryTalk, Modbus, OPC, DNP3, Ethernet/IP, BACnet, Profibus, etc.)
- Pay (Salary Grade, Hiring Range, Pay Range, Range Explanation, first review date)
- Selection Procedure (maybe as part of Requirements? but we can include as separate section? The instruction says prefer few substantive sections over many thin ones. Could combine Selection Procedure into Requirements or Qualifications? But it's procedural. Might be okay to include as a section "Selection Process". However allowed headings list includes only those given; we should stick to those headings. So we could put selection procedure under Requirements or Qualifications? Probably under Requirements as it's about eligibility. But we can also create a separate section if we think it's substantive; but the instruction says use those headings for section headings. It didn't forbid other headings, but says use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It implies we should use those headings when appropriate. Could we add other headings? Probably better to stick to those. So we need to map content to those headings.
Thus we need to decide where to put selection procedure, supplemental info, physical/sensory requirements, working conditions. Could be under Requirements (as they are requirements/qualifications). Or under Qualifications. Might be okay to put them under Requirements as they are part of minimum qualifications and supplemental info.
But we must preserve all substantive info; we can include them as lists under Requirements.
Let's structure:
