Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Adheres to company safety rules/policies.
- Applies and checks instrumentation, builds assemblies, carries out tests, and related technical tasks according to blueprints, PowerPoints, test plans, or other definitions.
- Applies technical knowledge and ability to use hand tools and operate test equipment such as DVMs (Digital Volt Meters), leak checking equipment, calipers, etc. according to established procedures.
- Reads and understands basic schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and other engineering diagrams.
- Maintains accurate records for tasks completed and issues confronted on a per job, per shift basis.
- Travels to customer locations to assist in instrumentation tasks as needed; travel may include up to 50% travel each calendar year. This is subject to change based on customer requirements.
- Supports a continuous learning attitude for relevant technical knowledge. Knowledge comes from internal and external training sessions, experience, and tests carried out on certain projects.
- Participate in and complete any mandatory labor support to achieve customer requirements and financial goals of the departments.
- Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe work area at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Aerodyn management.
Qualifications and Experience
- A High School Diploma is required.
- MET/EET/A&P Certifications are preferred.
- Prior experience with Engine Sensor Application and/or Sensor Knowledge (Pressure, Thermocouple, Strain Gage, and Accelerometers) is preferred.
- Aerospace industry experience is strongly preferred.
