About the role
The Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining instrumentation systems in various industrial settings. This includes but is not limited to, process control systems, safety systems, and environmental monitoring systems.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing new instrumentation systems based on project specifications.
- Maintaining existing instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate instrumentation solutions into larger projects.
- Performing system diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve issues efficiently.
- Documenting all work performed for future reference and compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in instrumentation engineering.
- Proficiency in using automation software such as AutoCAD, P&ID, and HMI/SCADA systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Experience with instrumentation systems in manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations relevant to instrumentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW.
- Experience with data analysis and interpretation tools.
- Understanding of electrical principles and circuit design.
- Knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
