In the role of the Instrumentation Controls Electrician working in the Malting department at the Golden brewery in Golden, Colorado, you will be part of the Malting Maintenance Team. Our maintenance team is the lifeblood that keeps our malthouse going. You will be responsible for playing an important role in ensuring that our production facility is running smoothly so we can make as much of our great malt as possible.

Shift: 4x4, straight nights

Key Ingredients

• You are serious about delivering results and take pride in a proven track record of delivering these results.
• You have a high school diploma or a GED.
• You are at least 21 years of age.
• You have a working knowledge of malting equipment and processes.
• You have a working knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles.
• You have related work experience: Industrial Electrical Journeyman and/or on-the-job electrical and controls experience in a heavy industrial environment.
• You have past apprenticeship program experience is a plus.
• You have a working knowledge of adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• You have knowledge of iFix, Panel View, PLC 5, SLC500, Contrologix, Brewmaxx &/or similar controls schemes.
• You have proficiency with troubleshooting electrical controls, PLC programs and processor-based programs and diagnostic panels.
• You have experience in troubleshooting, setting up, and calibrating process instrumentation (Level, Temperature, Pressure, Etc.).
