About the Role
Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects including state of the art industrial and commercial facilities making meaningful contributions from day one. You’ll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
Responsibilities
- Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document and model design information while ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
- Design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes, working closely with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver complete, world-class solutions for new facilities.
- Provide on-site assistance during startup, coordinating work activities amongst project team members and the discipline lead.
- Work on a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team producing control system designs for a variety of processes, and develop options and optimizations for all aspects of process control, instrumentation, and automation systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or other related engineering or technical field
- At least 2 Years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control Systems
- Experience in industrial or commercial control systems, including Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA systems, or Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
- Engineer in Training (EIT) experience is a plus
- Experience with Data Center control systems design, commissioning, and infrastructure components
- Working knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS, or other control platforms
- Working knowledge of common instrument types and applications
- Experience preparing technical specifications, point lists, and design drawings
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices and contribute with innovative ideas
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $69,500.00 to $95,500.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Schedule
